Good Bye Mrs. Bainter

Last Wednesday, Kelseanja and I went to her Kindergarten teacher's retirement party. Mrs. Bainter has been teaching for 41 years. Kelseanja has learned so much from her this year. Including how to read and write. Mrs. Bainter played the piano/keyboard in her classroom often. Kelseanja learned many new songs and her class also did a couple little programs for the parents. Thank you for an awesome year, We Love You Mrs. Bainter and will miss you!

Graduation Celebration!

A week ago, we went over to our friend's house to celebrate their son Jacob's High School Graduation. We had lunch, visited, and watched the kids play with the bubbles. It was so good to see everyone! Nothing like spending time with great friends!

Time for some updates...

Here are a few quick updates from the last few weeks:

Mother's Day BBQ at my Uncle Glade and Aunt Jennifer's House. The kids had fun blowing bubbles for the dog, Lexi. She would run back and forth between the kids trying to catch all the bubbles she could. Austin and Jaxton had the most fun and was almost laughing so hard that they couldn't blow bubbles. The girls enjoyed jumping on the tramp. Kelseanja somehow managed to get a hold of the cat. (No surprise. She loves the animals.) We also got to visit with Grandma and Grandpa Sessions and my cousin Shelia. It is always good to see family when we travel.

Grandpa Rob showed the kids how to brush the kitty Zeus. I don't think that Zeus was too thrilled about being mauled and chased all weekend, but he did enjoy the brushing. Grandpa got some hugs from Kelseanja and Jaxton (so cute!) Also, I don't have any pictures, but we took the kids swimming at the Rec Center in Vernal. They loved it! Well, the older three did. Jaxton is terrified of swimming pools. Adam and I had taken the kids swimming the week before at a local indoor pool in GJ and Jaxton screamed the entire time he was in the water. The water was really cold though and I figured he didn't like the cold water. So in Vernal, I though he would love the warm water. Nope, he screamed worse than the weekend before. We are not giving up though. By the end of the summer hopefully he will get used to playing in a large pool. Since we have been home I think I may have learned why he hates the pool...it is because he doesn't think he should have clothes on. I know it sound crazy, but both times I have let the kids play in our little pool in the backyard I have caught him totally in the bare, but when I have him put on a water diaper he gets mad.

Me taking pictures of the kids with my new camera. It is a nice SLR camera which I got a little early as my Mother's Day gift this year (mostly so I could take picts for the gift I made for all the grandma's) I accidentally broke my old camera. There is a lot I still need to learn about my new camera, but so far I think the pictures are turning out amazing! I am so happy with it! Thanks Adam and kids for the gift!

Weekend before Mother's Day it was Jr. Prom. Kaloni and Mom came over so that Kaloni and Jacob could go to his prom. It was a masquerade ball theme so they had to wear masks. The two looked awesome before they took off for the ball.
