Jaxton Updates

Jaxton 4-2-08

Jaxton is 3 1/2 weeks old now. It doesn't seem like that much time has passed already. He is doing well and growing. Just the other night I found that he no longer fits some of his pjs. He is getting too long for them. But he is now starting to grow into some bigger clothes which givs us more options when choosing outfits. He has changed so much since he was born. Adam and I have decided that he looks a lot like his Grandpa Doug. So, that also means that we gave Jaxton the right middle name.

Jaxton had several firsts over the past week:
He went on his first trip to Utah over the weekend.
It was also his first long trip (only stopped once).
He met his Grandpa Rob (and listened to Grandpa read Nursery Rhymes).
He met his Uncle Adam .
He met his Great-Grandma Lloy and Great-Grandpa Barney.
He had his first meeting with a dog (just briefly).
He had his first major blowout (the undershirt will never be the same again).
He had his first diaper changed by someone other than Mommy since coming home from the hospital.
And he visited the neighbors for the first time and met Kerrigan who is much softer than Austin, but still thought Jaxton should be able to ride in her doll stroller. (Kerrigan is our 2 1/2 year old neighbor girl who plays at our house a lot.)

Some of Jaxton's likes are:

He likes taking baths (almost goes to sleep during baths)
He likes eating (nursing and bottle)
He likes sleeping (with noises)
He likes be held and cuddled
He likes being rocked
He is starting to like his swing more
He likes car rides
And he likes dancing with Mommy

Adam's work gave Jaxton several outfits that are just adorable. Here are a couple.

In a previous post I mentioned that I loved it when Jaxton smiles. Well, my mom caught one of those precious smiles (just before Easter.) I love this picture!

Smile!
